In conjunction with GetActive! Singapore, YouthCreates would like to welcome National Day Skate Carnival into its fiesta this year!
National Day Skate Carnival is a rollerskating event organized by HiRoller Singapore and supported by YouthCreates through the Active Citizen Grant.
This three-day event will include two skating workshops: Rookie Inline Floorball Workshop and Basic Skating crash course which will allow you to play competitive floorball on wheels and get an introduction to the basics of skating!
Another feature would be skating carnival games, where everyone, new skaters, current skaters, as well as spectators, are welcome to participate in an obstacle skating course filled with exciting elements. So come on down and bring along your families and friends to enjoy this skate carnival!

What to expect
In this rookie workshop, you will learn more about inline floorball from national floorball players and renowned skating coaches.
Inline floorball is a unique skate discipline created and developed in Singapore by local skaters. The sport is adapted from inline hockey and was created by people who were both avid skaters and hockey players who were inspired to combine both sports together.
You will participate in a learning workshop that will cover the fundamentals of stick handling in an inline floorball game, as well as how to use and apply the appropriate skating skills to benefit gameplay. You will also get to experience inline skating as a team sport, where coordination and rapport-building among teammates are essential.
