Along with Amandeep Kaur, Charmaine Soh, Kimberly Lim, Angelina Lim, Tan Yi Jie, Sindhu Nair, Lee Pei Shan, Jamie Lim, Miki Ng, Yew Shu Ning and Goh Wei Ping, these thirteen players proudly represented Singapore at the recent 2022 Asian Netball Championships. There, the team brought honour to Singapore as they came in second place and qualified for the 2023 Netball World Cup for the 11th time!

The Singapore National Netball Team has a rich history of international success, including eleven World Netball Championships, one SEA Games title, two Nations Cup titles and three Asian Netball Championships titles. Their hard work and dedication have earned them recognition on the INF World Rankings, currently sitting at 27th.

Today, the team is led by coach Annette Bishop from New Zealand, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the squad. She has been working with Netball Singapore as a performance video analyst for over 10 years, and, in 2020, took on the helm as Head Coach and Technical Manager.

The women of the Singapore National Netball Team are a force to be reckoned with on the court, and their friendship off the court is equally unwavering and formidable. “As a team, we cultivate an open culture where both coaches and players are honest about feedback. This helps the team communicate and play better,” says captain Kai Wei.

The Vitality Netball World Cup 2023 will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 28 July to 6 August 2023, where they will compete with 15 other countries for the title. Let’s cheer them on as they continue to make a positive impact on the netball world!
