The development of local infrastructure has always been a critical part to the country’s growth. When that ground to a halt at the start of the pandemic, we were all hit harder than we could imagine.

Helen Lee is the team lead of infrastructure development at SportSG. She leads a team of project managers, architects, consultants and contractors to conceptualise, plan, design and construct a new generation of sport facilities to meet the community’s needs. Together with her team, she ensures that that sport facilities are within easy reach of as many people as possible by enhancing existing community spaces, making facilities available after school hours and developing new and innovative facilities.
