Team Singapore's haul from the Manila 2019 SEA Games in the sport of wrestling was 3 bronze medals.

Inspired by that initial success, Team Singapore has sent a 4-member team to compete at the current Hanoi SEA Games. 23 year old Danielle Lim is the only debutant, while the squad also includes Timothy Loh, Gary Chow and a defending bronze medal winner, Lou Hong Yeow.

Prior to the SEA Games, the squad spent time training in Mongolia - their 1st overseas training stint in more than 2 years, due to the global pandemic.  Meanwhile, Sport Singapore, caught up with all 4 wrestlers a few weeks ago. On the pre-taped Zoom chat, SportSG's Raj Kumar spoke to them about the competition formats, the reasons pertaining to their continued involvement in the sport, hopes in Hanoi and much more.
