On 14 December 2021, the MTF updated on the Omicron situation and announced some adjustments to the Safe Management Measures (SMMs) to safeguard against potential community transmission, including the expansion of vaccination-differentiated SMMs to all indoor sports facilities and sports events from 1 February 2022. Following the announcement, Sport Singapore is providing guidance regarding the SMMs concerning all sports and physical exercises & activities, and public & private sports & recreational facilities in Singapore for the period from 17 December 2021 onwards.
